Sean 'Sweet' Johnson ( June 22, 1963 is the leader of the Grove Street Families and is Carl's brother. Sweet blames CJ for the death of their younger brother, Brian. This event makes CJ leave for Liberty City. Carl returns fives years later however, due to the death of his mother. He appears in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas as a major character.

Sweet is gunned down and arrested during the takeover of Los Santos by Big Smoke and the Ballas. He is released from prison, and, following CJ's return from The Badlands, manages to wipe out the Ballas and regain control of Los Santos.
