Introduced In: Crime And Punishment
Killed In: Master And The Molotov
Mikhail Faustin (1962 - 2008) is a Hove Beach Russian mobster in Grand Theft Auto IV, introduced in the mission "Crime and Punishment", along with Dimitri Rascalov. Faustin had Niko Bellic brought to him for murdering Vlad along with Niko's cousin, Roman Bellic. It is later revealed that Dimitri wanted them both dead, but Mikhail decided to use Niko to run errands. Mikhail has serious anger issues and drug problems. This puts him in great tension with Dimitri (Dimitri is normally calm and level headed, and would prefer to think logically to make the most money, instead of killing everyone that angers him). He often appears relaxed due to his addiction to pain killers.
Eventually, Mikhail begins making foolish decisions that put everyone in danger, so Dimitri asks Niko to kill him. Mikhail tells Niko that Dimitri has become corrupted by greed and will turn on him as well. Niko believes that Faustin has brought his trouble on himself and chases him to the roof of Faustin's club, Perestroika. On the roof, Niko shoots Faustin in one knee and then in the chest sending him off the building, where he is killed by the fall.
