Liberty Tree

Liberty Tree is the local newspaper for the the city of Liberty City. It has appeared in all of the games based in 3-D Liberty City. The manual for Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is designed to resemble to most recent issue of Liberty Tree which explains what happened during the game. The Liberty Tree also appears in Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto III.

The one person who played a part in the Liberty City Stories storyline is Ned Burner, who while posing as a priest in a local church, told Toni Cipriani to cause as much chaos as possible around Liberty City so Ned could get exclusives for his newspaper.
