The story follows a new Protaganist in Luis Lopez who is a socialite and a bodyguard to nightclub owner Anthony "Gay Tony" Prince.
The Ballad of Gay Tony is the last downloadable game exclusive for the Xbox 360 & PS3. Like The Lost and Damned, it adds extra features, such as more accessible buildings, vehicles and achievements.
This game has been released on disc along with The Lost and Damned and will not need Grand Theft Auto IV to play.
Some new features added on top of the Grand Theft Auto IV saga, is a more accessible Liberty City as well as linking the stories of Johnny Klebitz and Niko Bellic's together. TBoGT also introduces a new scoring system after each mission, which discourages the use of cheats and mission replays. The new system also sets targets which include completing the mission within an allocated time as well as only sustaining a certain amount of body and vehicle damage, and is designed to prolong the life of the game.
