Main article: Victor Vance

Victor "Vic" Vance is an ordinary man who joined the US Army to raise a little money for his family, especially for his brother who is sick, and his other brother who is sick in a different way. He is a 28 year old corporal and is based at Fort Baxter Air Base in the south west of Vice City. After driving around doing jobs for Jerry Martinez, his sergeant, he soon gets a dishonourable discharge after he was set up, and ends up having to fight his way through the criminal underworld to gather what money he can, and eventually he begins to build up a small empire which increases in size until he owns a huge chain of criminal businesses across Vice City, and he and his brother Lance Vance become big-time drug dealers, much against Vic's will, who sees drugs as a bad thing to get into.
