Drinking is an activity that can be played in Grand Theft Auto IV. Niko and his friend go to a pub by car, walking or taxi and start drinking. After leaving the bar, Niko and is friend are drunk and keep tripping over. The screen is blurred (like the Vice City mission Boomshine Saigon) and Niko and his friend stumble frequently. Niko and friend now have the option of ccatching a taxi or going home by car.
If Niko and his friend go home by taxi, they arrive at the destination.
If Niko and his friend go home by car, the car will continuously swerve on the road, leading to the police noticing and giving chase.
