Catalina is the primary antagonist of Grand Theft Auto III. She also makes an appearance in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

She is seen in the first scene of GTA III shooting Claude Speed during a bank robbery. She claims that he is "small time" and seems to believe that he is weighing her down. She is a member of the Colombian Cartel and deals the new drug Spank in the game. Throughout the game she causes trouble for Claude, like sending mad spank addicts to kill him.

Catalina only has one mission, and that is for the last level in the game, for Claude to rescue Maria and kill Catalina.

Catalina is killed in the end of the final mission in the game after calling Claude to her mansion, using his girlfriend as bait.

Catalina is introduced to Carl Johnson when he is forced to hide out in The Badlands. She is the cousin of Cesar Vialpando, and comes across as obnoxious, violent and psychotic. After she and CJ meet, she involves him in a violent bondage game in her cabin.

She enlists CJ's help to rob various places at gunpoint. When she eventually grows tired of CJ, she finds herself a new boyfriend. This new boyfriend turns out to be Claude Speed, the protagonist from GTA III, and claims they are going to Liberty City.

After the player has completed the main storyline, CJ receives a call from Catalina, who is in the middle of having sex with Claude.
