Activities in Grand Theft Auto IV are things that Niko Bellic can do with his friends or dates during the game. The player simply has to arrange an activity and then pick the friend or date up to start it. Activities can include things such as eating, playing pool, drinking, or going to a strip club. Some activities include a mini-game. For example, any competition activity (bowling, pool, darts) will require the player to attempt to beat the friend or date at the activity. The drinking activity will also blur the camera and impair movement which will result in a drunk-driving mini-game if the player attempts to drive (the player will earn a one-star wanted level if any police officers are nearby).
