Jerry Martinez Phil Cassidy Louise Cassidy-Williams Marty Jay Williams Lance Vance Brian Forbes Umberto Robina Reni Wassulmaier Mendez Brothers Gonzales Ricardo Diaz Sgt Jerry Martinez Mission Name: Soldier Objective: Travel around getting a feel for the place Brief Description: Get in a vehicle and head for the airport. After the cutscene is over, start swimming back to land - and try not to be shot. Once on dry land, head back to Fort Baxter. Rewards: $50 Mission Name: Cleaning House Objective: Free Phil's apartment of Cholos Brief Description: Drive down to Phil's place. Then head to his apartment and kill the Cholos outside. Enter the building and kill the guys inside. Mission passed. Rewards: $100 Mission Name: Conduct Unbecoming Objective: Get a hooker for Martinez Brief Description: Go towards Viceport and talk to the hooker. Let her in the car and drive towards Starfish Island. Kill the men who try to stop you from picking up Mary and then drive her back to Fort Baxter. Oh dear - Martinez set you up and you've just been booted out of the army. Rewards: Phil's apartment for a safehouse Phil Cassidy Mission Name: Cholo Victory Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Boomshine Blowout Objective: Stop Phil's boomshine from blowing Brief Description: Get to Phils warehouse and the factory will set alight. Get in the forklift truck and move the first boomshine crate onto Phils truck. Some of the factory will blow up and you will have to go around it to get to the next crate. After the second crate is safe, more factory collapses. You must now weave in and out of the boxes to get to the third crate. The same will happen for the last crate. You must get all four crates out before the green bar fills up. If you do that, then it's mission complete. Rewards: $250 Mission Name: Truck Stop Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Marked Men Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Louise Cassidy-Williams Mission Name: When Funday Comes Objective: Win the race Brief Description: Take Louise to the trailer park and enter the race. You'll be in a race against 3 other people, but unfortunately, you can't kill them, so it looks like you'll have to do it the hard way. The Quad is very tricky for some people to handle, as the steering isn't nearly sensitive enough. Now, you've only got to do 2 laps, so you'll have to get used to the controlling very quickly. there's no strategy for this except to stay full out as much as you can and cut corners whenever you can. When you'v won the race you unlock "Turismo" at Sunshine Autos. Rewards: $500 Mission Name: Takin' Out The White Trash Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: D.I.V.O.R.C.E. Objective: Take care of the local pest Brief Description: Go to the trailer park and take out the two rednecks. Now chase after Marty and eliminate any guys who come at you in pick up trucks... Drive quickly. You have two options: you can either ram Marty out of his car or you can take it to the brothel. Either way, be prepared. Just run him over the second you see him get out of his truck, don't get out and try a shootout. Ignore the fact that Louise is annoyed and head to Pay N' Spray if you have a wanted level - this will be free. Rewards: "Trailer Trash" outfit, "The Compound" safehouse Mission Name: To Victor, The Spoils Objective: Take over some businesses Brief Description: Welcome to one of the best features ever put into GTA games... Empire Building. This mission will introduce you to a whole new world in gaming. Take Louise to Sunshine Autos and recruit the guys by pressing right and up on the D-pad. Head to the loan shark marked on the radar. Now Louise will drive off, so you should now start killing any guards you see (there aren't many) and then head over to help out Louise. Do the same again, and then enter the business. Take out the remaining guards inside and watch the tutorial on empire building. You can now take over any empire you wish and it will generate large sums of cash at 16:00 every day. Rewards: $1500 and Empire Building Mission Name: Hose The Hoes Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Robbing The Cradle Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Marty Jay Williams Mission Name: Shakedown Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Fear The Repo Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Waking the Neighbors Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: O Brothel Where Art Thou? Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Got Protection? Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Lance Vance Mission Name: Jive Drive Objective: Get Lance to the hotel safely Brief Description: This is the point in the game where anyone who found Lance irritating in Vice City will want to smash the UMD. Your car is not invincible, so as soon as you are in control, start shooting at any and every Cholo you see. There are tons of them, so be ready. There's no way to avoid them and no particular strategy, but if yu keep looking at the blips on the map, you should know where the Cholos are. Once you're out of the car, it's a very similar situation. Still keep your eyes on the radar, because the Cholos will be coming at you from all directions. You'll now have to kill them and make sure Lance stays alive too - b careful because he has a suicide tendancy. Eventually, the Cholos will back off, and that's your chance to get the hell out of there. So, get the nearest undamaged car (and be careful of any cops). Now it's just a matter of getting him to his Downtown hotel. Rewards: Mission Name: The Audition Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Caught As An Act Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Snitch Hitch Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: From Zero To Hero Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Brawn Of The Dead Objective: Shoot the film Brief Description: First, the shotgun part should be easy. Just keep aiming (don't let go) and firing. Keep turning around too because the girl helping you seems incapable of keeping the zombies away. When this is done, you must then keep away any zombies from entering the record store with a katana - this should again be easy since they walk slowly. Rewards: $850 Mission Name: Blitzkreig Objective: Defend your empire! Brief Description: You need at least 5 empires for this mission. If you have this, you should also have plenty of armour, and ammo in a heavy weapon. If you have a minigun, great, but if not, some kind of assault rifle will do. Just take out any attackers who come near the empire, whilst making sure you don't kill Lance. Leave your guys to help you too. You will know when you've almost done the mission because you will have cars of opponents attackiing you. If you have the minigun, now's the time to use it because you can blow up the cars before they have a chance to get you. Then, that's all you need to do. Rewards: Mission Name: Turn On, Tune In, Bug Out Objective: Destroy police antenna around the city Brief Description:Get to Ammu-Nation and get the rocket launcher and armour. Head to the Washington Beach Police Dept and destroy the first two antenna. Get on the roof of the police station and take the helicopter. Now head over to the police station in Little Havana and land on the roof. Get out and destroy the two antenna then fly over to downtown. Land on the roof of the building next to the police station and take down the last two from there. Get back in the helicopter and get the police bribe from the nearby construction yard to get the feds off your back. Now it should be relatively easy to get rid of your wanted level. Hop in the nearby Flatbed and drive to the Pay N' Spray. Rewards: $300 Mission Name: Taking The Fall Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: White Lies Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Where It Hurts Most Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Blitzkreig Strike Again Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Lost & Found Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Light My Pyre Objective: Rescue Lance and Louise + kill Armando Brief Description: Get the PCJ near Lance's house and follow him, picking off any threats. When you get to Prawn Island, get the health (from the big grass patch) and armour (from the film studios). Now get back on your PCJ and head through a gap between the car and the gate on the right hand side. Go around the left hand side of the house (get off and run if your bike is set alight) and equip your most powerful weapon (preferably a minigun). Enter the markerand get ready to fire, because Armando is after you with a flamethrower. Once he's dead, sit back and watch the cut-scene in which Louise dies. Unfortunately, there is a glitch which means there isn't any sound on this cut-scene. Rewards: Brian Forbes Mission Name: Money For Nothing Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Leap And Bound Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: The Bum Deal Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Umberto Robina Mission Name: Nice Package Objective: Be the first to get the package for Umberto! Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Balls Objective: Stop the Cholos Brief Description: All you need to do for this, is get a four door car and a decent power weapon. Drive to the first location and help your boys take out the Cholos before the Havoc-meter fills up. Now all you have to do is simply keep doing this from location to location until you pass the mission. Try to avoid any gunfire, because you wouldn't want a nasty bullet mark in your car or head, would you? Rewards: $800 Mission Name: Papi Don't Screech Objective: Get Umberto's dad to safety Brief Description: Pick him up at the stadium, and drive carefully back to Little Havana. Be safe so you don't give him a heart attack, but make sure no-one takes him out and make sure he gets to the cafe on time. Rewards: $1000 Mission Name: Havana Good Time Objective: Wipe out the Cholos once and for all! Brief Description: Rewards: Reni Wassulmaier Mission Name: Accidents Will Happen Objective: Complete the movie Brief Description: Basically, all you must do is drive the car around the checkpoints. Time is of the esence, and if you get through the checkpoints, a little bit more time will be added onto the timer. You should also keep up the action meter - Reni is filmng above and it won't be a very good film with no action! So, whenever you see another stunt car, crash into it to boost the action meter - the other car will go up in flames, but you will not be harmed. Do this in time, and you will pass the mission. Rewards: $850 Mission Name: The Colonel's Coke Objective: Protect Gonzales from attackers Brief Description: Go to the marker and after the scene, get in the chopper. Follow Gonzales' boat dodging from left to right to avoid bullets. Don't worry about the boats below because your men will easily take them out. Once you get to the Viceport container ship a chopper will attack you. Get behind it so it can't shoot you, and wait for your men to take it down. Once it is down, keep following Gonzales' boat just around the corner and it's mission complete. Rewards: $850 Mission Name: Kill Phil Objective: Protect Phil Collins Brief Description: Get to the limo and drive it to the meeting point. Pull out an SMG of some sort and kill all the men. This shouldn't be too hard. Now simply get into the limo and drive to Phil's hotel. The limo is bullet-proof so you should be fine as long as you put your foot down and don't let the attacking men keep up with you. Rewards:$1000 Mission Name: Say Cheese Objective: Help Reni film some scenes for its production Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Kill Phil Part 2 Objective: Protect Phil from hitmen Brief Description: Go to the stadium and enter the building. Get on the bike to your right and cycle along killing all htmen on your way. When you get to the end, pick up the key card and prepare to battle it out with several more hitmen. Make sure you do all this before Phil arrives, and also you should be equipped with an AK-47 or an assault rifle for this mission. This is the most effective weapon for killing the hitmen. Rewards: $1500 Mission Name: So Long Schlong Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: In The Air Tonight Objective: Protect Reni and Phil Brief Description: Get Reni to the airport first. This won't be hard since you'll only face one or two pursuers and they'll be right towards the end of your journey. Say a goodbye to Reni once and for all, then head over to the stadium. While Phil is performing below you, simply kill any guys who are up on the platform with you. One or two punches should kill them. Mission complete - and you can nw watch the concert whenever you want for just $6000. Rewards: $3000 Mendez Brothers Mission Name: Mugshot Longshot Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Hostile Takeover Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Unfriendly Competition Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: High Wire Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Burning Bridges Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Gonzales Mission Name: Homes On The Range Objective: Win the golf driving game Brief Description: Gonzales believes a mans swing says a lot about him, so he challenges you to a game of golf, where he has a man tied to a buoy. Press X, and a yellow bar will start moving across a green and red one. Stop the bar in the green section and do the same with the second bar, and you will hit the target. Easy. Rewards: Golf mini game unlocked and $1000 Mission Name: Purple Haze Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Farewell To Arms Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Ricardo Diaz Mission Name: Steal The Deal Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: The Exchange Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Domo Arigato Domestoboto Objective: Destroy the safe Brief Description: OK, this is easy. Head over to the Mendez place and get in the van. Now you are in control of Domestobot. Simply do any tasks that you are asked without hesitation. Immediately after completing your first task, set off to the basement and start cracking the code. There is no set code (well actually there is but we're not going to tell you what it is because that would spoil the fun), so you will have to work it out yourself - you have 20 attempts so it's not too hard. Always do what you''re told unless you're almost done cracking the code. Then once you've opened the safe, set the stuff on fire with one of your lighter. Oh yes and if you want, try using the "pleasure" arm on one of the girls. Rewards: $2000 Mission Name: Over The Top Objective: Brief Description: Rewards: Mission Name: Last Stand Objective: Kill Diego and Martinez Brief Description: Take a minigun with you and make sure you have full health and amour. Fly the Hunter over to the building and start firing rockets and avoid any rockets shot at you. Eventually, you will be taken down so you will have to carry on inside the building. Work down from the roof and make sure you have your minigun out. Kill any guards with the minigun. There are plenty of armour pick-ups, so no need to worry about that. When you get down two floors, you will need to head up again, so take out any guards and the helicopter on your way. Get back onto the roof and run straight for the armour if you need it. If not, just use your minigun and kill Martinez and Diego - they should go down in about 2 seconds flat. Now watch the final cut-scene and let the credits roll. Rewards: Winner outfit

Multiplayer (needs to be ported to the wiki!) This page is dedicated to multiplayer aspects of the game. Such as the game types and what each entails. GTA:VCS is NOT online capable, but the games can accomodate up to 6 players in ad-hoc mode. You can choose from a range of different characters to play as Phil Collins!

The PS2 version does not have multiplayer at this stage.

Balloons (needs to be ported to the wiki!)

Around the city, there are many balloons scattered around - 99 in total. Unlike packages from previous games, you do not simply walk through baloons. You must shoot them. The rewards for getting them are as follows: 10 - Pistol 20 - Scorpion 30 - Stubby Shotgun 40 - Molotov Cocktails 50 - AK47 60 - Armor 70 - Flamethrower 80 - Equaliser 90 - Sniper 99 - M249 The image on the left is where each of the balloons can be found. Click for an enlarged version.
