It's been a while since we last heard from everyone's favorite anti-game activist, Jack Thompson. He's been abnormally silent since the conclusion of his bar trial last month, but the golden silence once enjoyed by video gamers everywhere has now been broken. After the announcement that GTA IV would be released on 29 April 2008, he decided to rear his ugly head once again. As usual, his threats of "dire consequences" are incredibly vague.
His statement claims that he's going to once again try to prevent underage sales of this game because of it's M rating in the United States, which means that only people 17 or older can purchase the game with valid ID, but it's possible that he'll try to have the game banned entirely like he has with Manhunt 2 and other games.
